The HDD plugs into the back of the network adapter and then slides into the expansion slot on the back of the PS2.
Get a Maxtor Internal HDD (atleast 40GB, and up to 200GB)...it's supposedly the brand that's most compatible with HDAdvance. Most Western Digital drives won't even fit.
