And this article being about a Hmong man, we have to realize what type of people these Hmong are. They are generally VERY recent refugees, and arent the type of people that easily assimulate to American cultures, meaning they are still hold a very strong sense of identity and pride. So strong, that I guess being told what to do, he had to retaliate.

But I am not trying to justify the incident. What he did was not right.
Yep, Faderman did some great work. Since reading her work, I have a great deal of respect for Hmong people. :usa:
