Well, the one I got isn't bad, it's about the same weight of the stock shifter, doesn't feel cheap. (pic attatched.) it's a short shifter..

I guess I'll remove the heat shield.. should I grease up the shifter before installing? Also, could I just kind of.. mash down the heatshield?
