Well, I figured I would go ahead and purchase an ebay short shifter.. and of course I have a problem installing it..

The short shifter didn't fit (i'll explain.. sort of..)

Okay, the stock shifter:
------O--[]
Short shifter:
------O---[]

Okay, well the part between the ball and the bearing wont fit between the linkage and my exhaust heat shield.

What shall I eva do?

btw, when I put my stock one back on.. i put it on backwards.. it's true JDM, yo! eh, was too cold to go back under and fix it..
