i believe there are other companies...the one i heard about the most is wacom...they have one for like 100 bucks last time i check which was like 5-6 years ago so it might be cheaper...lol and if your aunt is looking into graphic design id diffinately go with the cheapest one...the bigger ones arent really that much better.(though the options of better pressure sensitivity as well as other options are in the more expensive ones...) though the cintiq is quite nice...too bad its over 1K i used it once at a friends house...amazing how much work u can do when ur actually looking down at what ur drawing instead of looking up at the screen
