checked battery, off it checked 12.9v, on 14.5-14.7.
did the checks on my hayes book listed for the charging system. Everything tested as it should, except maybe one test (idle, all acc on) when the fan came on as well, the voltage dropped to 12.8. However after the fan stopped the voltage came right back up to normal. The Hayes book did mention that some of the smaller alt. could drop below 13v. though

I also checked the plug wires, the front bank had a resistance of 14-16k, the back bank, was 4-9k
the coil checks out as well.

I have yet to check the o2 sensors, egr, etc

I am kinda stumped.
