What year car? That ALWAYS matters.

Usually the VTEC valve & switch are attached to the head, forward from the distributor. The pressure switch usually has a green electrical plug. The solenoid is usually on top with a single wire. Unbolt all of it & clean it. But have new gaskets since the old ones have probably become hard & brittle.
