its cuz they are "pressed on"
so yea, it will take more work to get the rotors off, but if you do not care about the old rotors, you can get them off with a sledge hammer or some tool along those lines.
another problem i had was getting the lower ball joint off, i even tried using a 2 jaw claw puller thing.
its def. cheaper to do it yourself, oh and you need a impact wrecnch to get the axle nut, and the 4 bolts that scure the rotor off.
