Default The new family member.

Well back in October I bid on a 1989 Civic Si near Baltimore, MD. $1200 with 130,000 miles. It was black and supposedly had minor front damage.

Well after spending another $2000 on the car I think it's finally in tip-top shape. This will be my 2005 Solo2/Hill Climb car (hopefully). Everything has been done that could be done (sans brakes) - although still smokes a bit. Alternator, water pump, timing belt, lots of gaskets, brake flush, tranny flush, oil flush (hrm still need to empty the gas tank to get all the gunk out), spark plugs, spark plug wires, air filter element, took the A/C out, replaced rear wiper arm, new radiator, new hatch shocks, new exhaust, new headlights, new bumper lights, new turn signal lights, new mirrors, and washed the engine bay.

Body needs some work, but that will wait til after winter. I have the bumper sitting in the garage, and looking for a hood. Spring I'll install: coilovers, shocks, intake, exhaust, header, sway bars, strut bars, seats, wheels, tires, and the roll bar.

Snow tires just went on this morning.
