Sorry it wasnt my intention to come off mean. Here is what ive found in my hatch there does seem to be a difference in placement. Its nice to know theories behind stuff but in the end its about what you think sounds better. Ive seen competition cars that have done well with the subs facing all different directions. If you have a preforance on the way the sub box is faced then go with that cause its realy how it sounds to you that matters. There are so many conflicting theories in car audio its not even funny. In the end all you can do is try different ones and see which comes out the best.
