its my understanding that when you check your tire pressures, it should definitely be beFoRe driving, and if you have, less than 10 miles (or was it minutes...?). temperature of your tires makes a big difference to the pressure, so if youve been driving around a lot and checking the pressures immeditately following, dont expect those readings to be consistent. those things heat up pretty quick, even in cold weather.
