I can understand.

In 10th grade my AP Biology teacher went home quickly in the middle of the day. When we got there another teacher told us that somebody broke into his house and had to go home.

He was lividly mad after that. He didn't care about the stuff they stole, but whoever it was actually went through family photos. They were spread across the room They never found who did it though. He still gets mad about it, and this is a guy that doesn't get mad about anything. One of the most mellow people without being a pot head that I know.
