I think this says more about the home the kid is growing up in and the things he sees in that home on a daily basis. I couldn't imagine a 6 year old having the capacity to think of killing themselves,
I agree, seriously how hard it is to just take the piece of glass out of his hand, these a trained police officers! But I think that it is kind of disturbing to see a kid do that to him self so they might of just "paniced/overreacted" which is kind of understandable...
