You disassemble the front suspension, pull out the axles, disconnect the shift linkage, pull out the speedo cable, take out the transmission mount, and pull out all the bolts and pop it off.

Like I said, you need a lift.

well, actually three of the four engine mounts are on the tranny, its not just one. There is a special tool you need to break the bolts off where the steering thing attaches and where the swingarm thing attaches. Its a rectangular piece with a bolt in one side and the end cut out of the other, i don't know what its called, but there like 10 bux at autozone. Taking the tranny out isn't really all that hard, but i have done it on a honda like 8 times, so it usually only takes me about two hours to change the clutch on a honda with a helping hand (for bascily just for the getting the tranny in and out part). Not impossible by any means, but expect to spend a good 8 hrs doin it if this is your first time.
