if you need to change the ride height for winter your cheapest solution would be a coilover kit.

with coilovers, aftermarket struts, and a camber kit you will be more than ok lowering oyur car that much.

and any decent alignment shop will tell you that you need a camber kit, because actually doing the job RIGHT requires one. there are always shortcuts, and i wont argue there, but right == camber kit.
