okay here's what i got:
7-10 psi with stock enternals
and up to 15 with built internals
anyone else back this up?
sounds like since i'm student, i think my decision would be staying stock internals. the gains from turbo are pretty cool.
here's my other question, i'm trying to populate a parts list so i can reasearch functions/prices.
turbo kit i'm looking at Drag gen 3
Turbonetics T04/T3 Turbocharger
DRAG 4 into 1 Cast Iron Turbo Exhaust Manifold
Turbonetics Deltagate Mark II Wastegate
DRAG Front Mount Intercooler (Polished Cast Aluminum End Tanks)
HKS Super Sequential Blow-Off Valve
DRAG Mandrel-Bent Chrome-Plated Piping
DRAG 2.5" Exhaust Down Pipe
DRAG Wastegate Dump Tube
DRAG Blue Silicone Couplers and Clamps
DRAG High Pressure/High Volume Inline Fuel Pump
DRAG Vortech Boost Dependent FMU
DRAG Intake Air Filter Assembly
Map Sensor Bypass Valves
Stainless Steel Braided Oil Feed Line w/ Fittings
Oil Return Line Assembly
All Necessary Hardware and Fittings
All Necessary Hoses and Hose Clamps
All Necessary Gaskets
other parts that do not come with kit
MSD Ignition With Wires
Electronic Boost Controller
Electronic A/F Controller (FMU or EMS (Hondata)
injecters (depends on boost or power) w/ clips
Boost Gauge
Temp Gauge
Pressure Gauge
exhuast 2'5 piping ( pick anyone should work fine i hear, depends on your taste in sound right?).
intercooler (now i dunno about this i hear intercoolers are 5' piping (that's huge!) and recommended for 270hp for usage, my ls is running at 140, and then around 240 once i turbo with stock internals. doesn't seem like i need this part right?).
t’s for the vacuum line (what is this btw).
vacuum line
Fuel Injectors: peak / hold
Fuel Management: hondata
Fuel Pump: Holley "version" for $169 from Summit Racing (that fatty guy's suggested purchase from a different thread).
and a performence ecu (brain of a car).
what am i missing or i don't need ? thanks
*edit: i'm gonna be looking at the t3, since ls redlines at 6800, t4's would be a little big. anyone know what rpm the turbo starts spooling at?
