The best source of persuasive writing you can find for research on this topic is editorials, and fortunately, the web is replete with them. You'll do well sticking with conservative sources like Rush Limbaugh and Anne Coulter, who are particularly .. umm .. controversial. There are more moderate conservative reporters who write for papers like the Washington Times and New York Post.

Reading these editorials will give you some ideas about style as well as content, and fortunately for you, all the facts that appear have already been checked for accuracy by the editors of wherever they were first printed.

May I suggest that homeland security and economic policy are two areas that President Bush seems to focus on, and there is probably a lot of information out there for you to read on those topics. And, if you're interested, you'll be able to find the position of the opposition on sites like salon.com and the New York Times.
