you lose sight of who you are and become ungenuine and labeled according to your letters. you lose personality and individuality too, ESPECIALLY to those who knew you before. that is *if* you were anti-social before and make a drastic change, after you join.
it gets real weird, esp among old friends and new. :dunno: i speak based on observations.
so, figure yourself out before joining is my motto. it looks real stupid if ur a really shy person, then come out of your shell after u join. people will look at you in a different light
either way it's a complete waste of time/breath.
they try to make it sound like you're part of this elite group or you'll be something special if you become a part of their frat. it doesn't mean jack shit in the real world.
