Stock motor CAN hold 20psi, yes...but not many people have successfully done it. Most of them end up with rods through the block.
actually most have just fried ring lands......I run 1.1 bar at the track on 114+93 octane mix on stock ITR internals with 92k miles with a thick head gasket.....that is on a FMU too...with a hondata or something like that you can run 20-22psi on those head gaskets safely on race gas
