Instead of stroking it, have the block sleeved and bore it to 84mm, that way you keep the same geometry, and don't make the r/s ratio worse. OEM crankshafts are excellent, no need to replace it...and then your sleeves will be stronger and be able to handle more boost. It's possible to get whatever compression ratio you want, depending on what head you use...LS/GSR/B16. As for what engine, use whatever you already have. If you have an LS, you can always put on a VTEC head.

And it's VTEC, not VTECH.
