That's rough man. Don't try to beat yourself up over what you could have and couldn't have done. I'm sure your uncle would know you did your best to make the right decisions in a situation like that where split-seconds matter. I would have probably done the exact same thing. I don't know you that well but you have my condolences. The drunk driver will no doubt goto jail and rehab, and live with the fact that he took a life that meant something when his own does not.
