Default Cat is flangless

Hi, I have a 94 Integra LS and I just got a aftermarket exhaust, it connects to the catalytic Converter (Cat-Back) but the person that owned the car before me took off the original Exhaust and replaced it with a pipe welded to the cat instead of a bolt on style setup. Now my question was whether it was possible or not to have someone weld new flanges on each side of the catalytic converter. until then I have a Exhaust and Headers that arn't able to connect.

A New Cat is $150 W/flanges, I dont want another cat cuz this ones only 2 years old.
