For some reason our passenger door of our 97 sedan will not close all the way. It has not been in any accidents at all. It does latch so there is no cause for it to come open while driving. The door ajar light will flicker while we drive. I can push it closed tight but it juts out a little in free state. Hey this happened to me on my 94 4dr as well. it was my drivers door tho. It would latch, but the little black button on the edge of the door would not be fully press in, to make the courtesy lights and the door ajar red light on the dash turn off. Sometimes, it would fturn on when i went around a tight corner, but then turn back off to normal after i made the turn. So i took it to the Honda Delearship, and they moved the metal latch about half an inch or less closer to the door. Never had any problems since
