Hey guys,

I had a sticky gas pedal and the throttle wasnt as responsive as it should, so after doing some research here I decided to clean the throttle body out, so disconnected the intake pipe from the throttle body, turned on the engine and sprayed throttle body cleaner while working the butterfly valve like the instructions on the cleaner said to do, after it was cleaned, I connected everything back the way it was, the gas pedal and the response is much better, however the check engine light came on and I thought maybe it would shut off, I havent driven much after it came on but what should I do ? I thought about resetting it but I would hate to do that without really knowing the reason it came on, if anything I could take it to the shop and have them fix it but hey if its something I could do I rather try to figure it out. any suggestions will be appreciated, thanks!
