I'm replacing the timing belt (among many other parts).

Both manuals I've looked at tell me to remove the power steering pump and both say not to disconnect the lines. Fair enough..

Only problem is that there are metal lines going into the rubber lines. The rubber lines aren't long enough to "move the pump out of the way". I'm also trying to move the reservoir, same problem. There are 2 pairs of metal lines: 1 pair goes toward the front (power steering cooler?), while the other pair go toward the rear (these wrap around the motor mount). I've removed 2 mounting brackets in an effort to make the metal lines easier to move but no dice.

How do you guys do it? Should I just disconnect the lines and bleed the p/s when I'm done?
