Wheel Offset??
I apologize in advance if this is a ridiculous question,
I have a set of factory prelude 15" rims (4 lug) on my 96 honda accord. These wheels have a slightly different offset than accord rims, which results in the rim and tire being too close to the suspension arms and whatnot. If the tire pressure gets low enough the tire actually touches the knuckle. A change in wheel offset also throws off the alignment and the handling.
Is there any way to change the offset without replacing the incorrect wheels with the correct ones? Perhaps some type a spacers that go in between the hub and the rim. I imagine the forces on a wheel of a car are pretty big, so I'm not sure if a part like this is even safe for the studs and lugnuts, but it is only a couple of mm. Thanks.
