I ran into the exact problem. If the MAF (electronic mass airflow sensor does not fit into one of the holes, the hole is probably welded poorly, not allowing it to fit in it all the way. Take the intake to a shop and have them sand inside the hole, and you might have to cut the hosing to allow the sensor to stretch to reach the hole...as far as the bracket, put it where the stock airbox bolts where and use zipties around the intake and throught the holes, do this to two of the holes on the bracket, and the intake will be a little loose up and down, not too much, but you don't want it stiff. Hope this helps, ask if I'm being vague and you need more info.

EDIT: Haha, that's my exact intake, the 90* bracket you won't need...also, the MAF sensor didnt plug in, so I think there is poor welding on these specific intakes, have a shop sand the inside of the hole, and blow the metal particles out.
