I have a 1.5 drop and I was using stock struts and they were fine, and I have no camber or wear problems. Get a kit if you can but your car is not going to die if you don't.
dont be so sure i had my 1.5 drop for a year and then i started having problems brand new tires worn down so that a whole tread pattern was missing from every inside of the tires..then the struts went out.. prolonged stress will eventually catch up with you...
