What the **** was your friend doing? Anways, I would make him see how much it is gonna cost. It his negligence that caused your damage. Does he have his own insurance for his own car, if he has one? If he has full coverage he should be covered in any car for up to 30 days without having to add that vehicle to his policy and that can get your car fixed too. If the rims are not cracked, you should be able to have them straightened out, all depending on how bad it is. If it is real bad, then thety will have to be heated and re-straightened, but then that may weaken your wheel depending on how well it was originally forged. Good luck and let us know what happens.
