I agree. If these are just daily tires and you live in a snow belt area you need something to get you through snow. I purchased Nokian Hakkapellita 2s last year and we got that blizzard. Never had a problem.
If you cannot get dedicated snow tires my wife had Dunlop SP5000s and they got us through snow, slush and ice and were pretty good dry tires too.
