gs was available in 96 & up.
the equvalent to that in 95 was the special edition ls. the only thing close to gs in that year would be gs-r, which is 5 speed.
if you are planning to do stuff to your car, imo, automatic tranny is not the best way to go, however, if its something you need right away, thats a good deal.
