Well whoopie you have been driving for so long. I know people who are 55 years old who still don't know how to drive. So what's your point? I've been driving since you were 11 or 12 years old, so...??
Even if the tires is really worn down it's still going to give an accurate alignment reading on the rack. Tire wear does not affect your alignment reading. Now a bad alignment will wear your tires bad.
