go for the lightest hood you can find, which does fit well, and get some hood lock or whatver they are called.
My VIS weighs much less than stock. Stock is a biotch to carry around. THe new hood is light as a feather comparitively. Fits great too. Its true that some people who dont know what it is think its wierd.
One of my brothers asked me when I was gonna paint the rest of my car. THen he said it looked like a police car cause it was black in front and white for the rest. Made me laugh.
