I have had a B16, 2 D16's, and one H23, I have a D16Z6 in my 94 Civic now, and wanted to do a swap, so I did all my research, and was going to go with a B series, and then I started adding up how much time and money it will cost me, plus the cost of mods for the B series, and availability of parts in my area, and it wasnt that bad, then I went to the wrecking yard to get one, and they didnt have one, I searched high and low for a B16 or 18, and when I found one they wanted way to much $$ for it. So I started lookin into a turbo or supercharger setup for my D16, and as far as that goes, im saving for one now. I found its much easyer to keep the motor you have, rebuild it with stronger parts, upgrade small things(ignition) and (I am going to supercharge it) but turbo's are fun too... I just think its easyer, plus if I blow this D16 up im not going to pay out the ass for another B series.

It all depends on what you want, if you just want a fun daily driver, Dseries, if you want a car that you always take to the track, and want to beat everyone, and want the bragging rights of having a B, then go with a B series..

Estimated cost of a total Bseries swap: $3000.00
Estimated cost of a Turbo Dseries :$1500.00
Winning a race against a N/A B series and seeing the look on the owners face when he sees you have a D16Z6 under the hood...Priceless.....
