Yes, but there has to be a way to control it. Sure right now we don't know how, but with technology advancing we'll figure it out. It also is dependent on how much anti-matter is being used. Look at the atomic bomb, it uses the same principle of atomic fission but in a small controlled environment it can yield useful results.
