FWIW, I run the 2pc 4-2-1 header from DC Sports, and I love it. It was so much easier to fit than a 1pc and the mid-range torque is very nice when passing on the highway.
I also ran an exhaust cobbled together from parts held over from my last car, but the power increase was definitely noticeable.

I am switching to an Apexi WS2 next week, as I've abandoned my plans to turbocharge the DC.
In short, I'd go with the 2pc 4-2-1 for daily driving. It shouldn't be viewed as a big compromise over the 4-1, IMHO.
