Congrats cobbcustomz.

I just have to say that after my experience, I actually feel almost the opposite way. Up until this final week, I'd been working my ass off. [edit]Actually I'm still working my ass off since I just want to get the trucks emptied out so I can go home. [/edit] The sup told me that he thought I was the best he'd seen in a long time, that I was a great team player, that if I had a more commanding voice I could make a good supervisor, etc. However, after all was said and done, I was always the last to leave checking outside the trailers (in the pouring rain this week), helping load irregs and doing tape-ups while all the other unloaders got to go home. Did I get paid more? Nope. Did I get burned out? Yeah, I guess I did.
Oops, there I go talking in past-tense when in actuality I have to go to UPS in a few hours. :P Needless to say, I'm looking forward to just working one job after this week even if I have to pay for my own healthcare for a while.
[edit again]I should say that my point was that you should pace yourself. Have a sense of urgency/work with intensity but keep in mind that if you're staying for the long haul, you've got to preserve yourself for it.
