question.........maybe we can salvage something from this thread

my 92 civic has drums at the back and I've managed to pick up the parts to go disc out back, I keep on hearing stuff like my brake pedal will be lower than before and that I need something called a pressure regulator or something like that to evenly distribute the fluid........any info?
