I wouldn't use that tire size (205/55/15) on my car only because of aesthetics. I think it looks funny to have bigger than normal sidewalls. But that's just me.

But you could use either 205/40/16 or 205/45/16 for your wheels. I'd just recommend the 45 series tire to save your wheels if you live in an area where potholes are common.
