I gotta admit, I never lived in a place where it has snow storm, I just visit there. My aunt have been living in Chicago for 27 years and she never has a SUV and she still survive, that's why my view of SUV is how it is. I'm assuming that if there's several inches of snow on the road, even SUV will be dangerous because it's so slippery but no first hand experience for me. I guess you know more than me about the need of SUV in that area so I'll take your words for it. I just hate all those SUV in California. They drive like they're the only one on the road and I'm sure 99% of those SUV never seen a spec of dirt. Also, most i've seen have only 1 person in it.
