ive speeded on wet roads all the time... in my bimmer and in my towncar(god i miss the towncar) . i bought this civic for my mother , unfortunately im stuck driving it cause my moms dosnt like to drive. my mistake was not doing reaserch cause i thought ABS would be standard by now, my towncar was 10 years older than the civic and it came standard, as for the bimmer .... sh*t its a bimmer i dont even need to type about shifting and braking (pure exelence). i should have bought a integra , now im stuck dumping money into this car to make it NYC street standard.
and to flatfourfan if a civic brakes brakes are more than sufficient then you need to get a test drive or something of a luxury car , thats when you see brake output
AND AS FOR THIS QOUTE "I like the way that you put it down to the quality of your brakes than down to drivers ability to react to the situation. " YOU ARE RIGHT UNTIL THE CAR PASSES 30 MPH. LOL (you are full of it like george w bush)
please dont reply " NO CHILD LEFT BEHIND"
