Thats what i figured afer some thought...it slipped my mind that the engine moves around when i posted....brain dead moment. I realized this when discussing w/ him. As i said, i didnt have the issue when i did the same install on my car.

SInce its not my car, and i was not actually there working on it, i had to rely on his description. come to find out, he bent the flange while installing. What i had him do was use reg bolts to flush it and bend everything back, then put the spring bolts back on.
