That commercial has been done so many freaking times, and they all suck.

Mazda has a whole freaking bunch of commercials of cars deiving on a dry lake bed. In one for the Mazda6, they have the car drive a 6 in the dirt. Whoa, who came up with that piece of genius?! Then they have a bunch of other ones with various other Mazdas driving on this stupid dry lake bed and getting all dusty. Who's going to drive a Miata with the top down through a dry lake bed and cover themselves in dust?

Now that I think about it, Mazda has a lot of horrible ads. That zoom zoom song is painfully annoying, and that little kid who says "zoom zoom" is crap. And they have one where they have the Tribute driving around with a bunch of Miatas because "it has the soul of a sports car." Argh! It's just a less-bad-looking version of the Ford Escape! They also have that one for the Mazda3 where the guy is like, "wham! there was this car...and it had all this...stuff!" After that there's a reference to twins he should go meet. I guess since I'm a guy and I'd like to have a pair of twins, I should now buy a Mazda3!

If anything I would hope that the company which turned out my wonderful vehicle would be so kind as to fire their advertising agency, and then burn its headquarters to the ground and murder all of its employees to make sure that they never again produce any more horrible commercials.
