I've got the stock motor also and I'm in your shoes too...one upgrade I did was a homemade circle earth grounding kit....it does help but not alot but is insanely cheap...just pm me if you have quesions on how to do it. uuummm, I would work on your igniton and stuff...like distributor and shit...check your timing make sure thats good...adjust your accelerlator cable, remove some weight...like your AC system unless you really need it...umm..i duno..search the internet...I think thats the best...look for alot of DIY, cause those seem to be the cheapest.
