Can regular bolts be used here to bring it true, or are the spring bolts required? I'd say just bolt it closed personally, but want to be sure for his sake.
*DO NOT USE REGULAR BOLTS* the spring bolts are there to absorb the engine torque and regular movement of the header pipes.
Using regular bolts can cause cracks in the header, bust bolts while driving, or worse screw up the studs on your block.
Only way I would advise using regular ones is if you were only driving like 5 minutes away to your closest muffler shop.
