uhh.....screwdriver? All you need to do is twist and pull and it will come out. And make sure you don't touch the bulb glass. You are not supposed to remove anything except for the bulb. I think you are trying to take off something you are not supposed to.

EDIT: Oh, unless you are taking about the cable that plugs into the bulb, sometimes that can be a pain in the ass to take out. I find it easier to take the bulb out of the socket, then yank it out of the plug. The screwdriver could help you out with that part, but I was always able just to pull it off.
