Ok, I was doing my weekly inspection of bolts and hoses, making sure things are the way they are suposed to be, and it hit me... I have never even looked under my dash to check the clutch and throttle linkage... So I got a flashlight and looked under there and noticed somthing bad, My clutch has been leaking, not enuff to lower the amount of fluid in the resivor, but it is leaking arround the shaft that goes through the firewall and into the master cyledner, there is a rubber fitting, and driping down that rubber fitting was alot of nasty brake fluid, and it looks like it has been this way for a while it has driped, and dried under my carpet, I cleaned everything up and noticed there is play in the shaft, side to side and up and down.... I assume that is not a good thing. I was thinking I need to replace this befor I replace my clutch, how much will this cost me new, or can I rebuild it ? What is better, parts store new, junk yard new, or rebuild kit?
