You just now started hearing your cv's clicking, you got a little while till they break. They don't always break right away, (although that does happen sometimes) they'll usually last for quite some time without a boot. All four of my cv's (inner and outer) are missing the boots and have been clicking for a little more than 2 years. But then theres dealing with the annoying and embarrassing noise.
No I am not thinking of something else....I know what I am talking about when it comes to this for the simple fact when the cv joint axle broke it broke part of it off in the tranny as well...If you don't believe go ahead and try it and prove me wrong it would of cost me around 600 dollars to fix it but I said **** it and sold it for 200 dollars and went and got me a Civic....
