Nitrous Oxide N2O is an oxidizer. It is NOT FLAMMABLE. It will however combust if it reaches a high enough temperature, around 572°F it breaks down and releases the oxygen, which combusts. Yes, anything that is under pressure can explode if punctured or the pressure becomes too great, but it will not explode into a ball of flames.

Although it does not burn, it supports combustion since it decomposes into oxygen and nitrogen when heated.
