I have a 1987 Honda Accord. It seems to have a fuel pump or fuel relay problem. There is no fuel pressure when this problem happens and the car will not stay running. However it only does this maybe once or twice a month for a couple of days at a time then it runs fine. It seems to me that if it was the fuel pump that was bad then it wouldn't work at all. I've checked the fuel filters and replaced them but it still does this. If I use starting fluid the car will start but it immediately shuts itself back off. So I guess my questions are:

Has anyone had this problem before and if so how did you fix it?
How do I get to the fuel pump?
